Doctors Sue Big HMOs

The Texas Medical Association, the Denton County Medical Society, and many individual doctors (37,000 physicians altogether) filed a federal lawsuit Monday accusing the nation's largest health insurance companies of fraud, racketeering and conspiracy by systematically refusing to pay for medical procedures physicians determined were necessary.
